Hi I'm new to flyertalk but have been obsessed with a flight I am taking to Sydney in March trying to get the right seat in UD for a trip of a lifetime. I eventually decided 64A was the one to go for and paid for it nearly 6 months ago. I then received the email of dread saying I had been moved for operational reasons. I got straight on the phone and the lady said she could see I had been moved to 64J but confirmed I had been moved back and would delete the "UN?" messages on the record. I asked if this was because of the bassinet issue and she said "maybe" although I thought on my hours and hours of research this shouldn't be an issue for a paying seat passenger.

I am now on tenterhooks as to whether I will ever get to sit in 64A on the day now.

I did want to say to her that if I find out on the day that there is an able bodied non infant carrying passenger in 64A it would be a very long 24 hour flight!!
