I think our collective message has been delivered to Starwood/Sheraton brand team that pretty much everyone here wants the lounges to be open 24/7, even if it's to grab a bottle of water or make a latte. Some properties get it, some need educating.
Yes, the if only on a guest floor clause sounds strange to me, but there may be operational reasons such as remodels. I'd say we can be helpful to Starwood and each other by pointing out properties not in compliance rather snarkly than asking them to edit press releases.

First we had to be the "lounge police" and let them know which hotels did not stay open.
Now we come to find that it really ISNT all lounges open 24/7.
