I need to sort us out some flights to fit around a cruise in November. I am trying to keep the cost down
What I need to get is EDI-DXB (prob via LHR) return is SIN-EDI.
We have a lot of Avios to burn so that is an option
As the OH wants to do a vv expensive shore excursion to Taj Mahal (something about buckets and lists) I am trying to keep the costs as far down as I can and so doing a straight CW booking both ways is currently a budget buster

As I see it my options are

Book a multi city PE face (c£1200 each) and upgrade the leg to DXB to CW now with Avios and take my chances (slim I know) to get an Avios upgrade on the SIN return

Book both legs in CW as Avios redemptions however, the SIN return will offer me flights via HKG on Cathay (OK not an issue) but only to LHR, as soon as I put in EDI it reverts back to no availability

So for my second option, is this something that is bookable but needs a call to the Booking Centre to achieve

Are there any other ticket options I could look at?
