I was there 7:10, the flight departure was 7:25. When I showed up they were giving passengers w/out seat assignments a boarding pass. It was my own fault for cutting it close, but they still could have let me board couldn't they? The main complaint wasn't really the fact they didn't let me board though.

The main complaint was:

1. Gate agents' attitude
2. They don't care and they aren't friendly and will just do the bare minimum (even for *G)
3. They messed up and didn't transfer me properly from one standby list to another and the gate agent didn't feel like trying to get me on it and just told me to go away
4. I could have made the last flight out of the night if it wasn't for UA's incompetence
