BA.com is not the most helpful or efficient way to find "partner" availability. It's a bit chicken-and-egg, if you know there is availability (having found it via another means), finding it on BA.com to actually book it is relatively easy. If you don't know whether there is availability or not, BA.com may well drive you to an early grave ...

Do you have an AAdvantage account? Have you tried searching for MileSAAver reward availability at AA.com?
