Well, not quite 7 hours but I spent 5 hours at MAN sitting on the BA1389 at Gate 141 on Friday morning. Boarded at 0940, flight cancelled at 1440. Only food available was the usual domestic shuttle fodder (it'll be a long time before I can look a Lily O'Brien's double choc cookie in the face again I can tell you). To add insult to injury it took another hour to get our bags back with the clowns at baggage handing informing pax that incoming flights had priority over ours.
