There's no such one day ticket in KL, however, you could purchase a card which you could top-up and use them for the LRT, bus etc. It might be troublesome to take one, but I think you could save some time by using that 'touch and go' card as in you don't have to queue every time you wanna use the LRT.
yes this "touch and go" is exactly what I would like to buy. Does this system have a name in KL? For Hong Kong it is the Octopus Card.

While on this subject of food. Unfortunately I am allergic to peanuts, almonds..most nuts in fact. Is there a particularly 'dangerous' Malaysian dish/dessert that has lots of nuts that might not be seen? As long as I can see it I can avoid it but sometimes they can be hidden from sight...
I can probably look this up online but how can I say that I'm allergic to nuts?
