I think the correct answer from the QA G/S would have been:

"Yes that's correct Sir. By the way, we will need to conduct a search sir. We believe you may have something hidden around your body. Would you mind following me into the room where this nice gentleman with a glove will check".

How utterly churlish you behaved. There is a massive difference between disembarking yourself for safety fears, and being repulsively offensive to another human being that was not being provocative or unfriendly. I can read your tone and I actually feel embarrassed on your behalf.
