Well warning all when I am going out to SIN next month, the person in 12B will have to understand the blinds will be shut until 4 hours into the flight when they will be opened as by that time it will be mid morning SIN time and I need to balance to that and look out for Everest etc

On second thoughts no need to worry, its the other half he knows the score

But I have had an issue with a "cow" two rows back call the attendant and ask I be told to shut my blind (it was lunchtime at destination by then) We were over six hours into the flight. It amazed me the attendant demanded I did this - I compromised to a "half close" but after this thread and realising it is not a "policy instruction" if this were to happen again I will politely decline
