I had two Taurus Limiteds during consecutive weeks - one from National out of DFW and one from Avis out of IAH. Both new with less than 5 miles on the odometer when I picked them up.
Even though they were both Limited trim, the two cars did come optioned differently. The National was probably the base limited while the Avis likely had an additional option package with the Sony audio, GPS nav enabled (had to fish the SD card out of the spare tire well and install it), power adjustment for the tilting / telescoping steering wheel and pedals, perforated air conditioned seats, and keyless entry. The Avis car's audio did sound better though the controls were probably a little worse, and after initial adjustment I don't really think power adjustment of the steering wheel makes a big difference. Didn't exactly need the AC seats in January, and the Ford nav wouldn't pull up POI's like hotels from a database for me (though the streets showed up just fine) so I still preferred my Garmin. In the end the only thing I wish National would spring for was the keyless entry - even if for no other reason than it is two fewer sharp keys floating around in my pocket.
