Irrespective of this thread, there are many loopholes in auto pricing which even Amadeus cannot resolve. If you are making an international itinerary, take AA operated by westjet and then any BA flight, you would see that Amadeus would autoprice it on AA ( as west jet does not have any agreement with BA ).This is an old example .I am not sure about the situation as of now. So, that would avoid fuel surcharge to be " Zero " as plating is on AA. Other example is on JU ( Jat Airways ) going to Serbia used to plate tickets .Other example could be use an iti that have F9, AA and any international airline that does not have any agreement with F9 - Such as Air China or China Airlines and you would see the plating on AA :P ..Funny loopholes,however these are intentionally used by many TA,though many would say Amadeus guarantees this
