Sitting in the lounge at FCO, original departure due at 15:00. Plane has been sitting outside ready to go for well over an hour but arrival into LHR is 3 hours behind schedule so they are keeping us here for a long as possible rather than burning fuel getting dizzy around Heathrow.

Lounge lady very good at telling us to stay in here even though departure boards are saying imminent departures. I presume they have departure slots in hand but they are letting them go until they know LHR will be ready to look after us.

Silly Americans didn't believe the lady though so now sitting in gate with no booze.

Just called for immediate boarding, Yay!
