There is also an ANA Crowne Plaza in Osaka, but it's in a pretty inconvenient location IMO.

If you take the Hilton Osaka you can use the JR rapid service train (not Haruka) to go directly to Osaka Station. It is cheaper and takes about the same amount of time as backtracking from Shin-Osaka with the Haruka.
