You can do either if going into Schengen, but FCT is really not meant as a transfer terminal. FCLs have better views.
I'm connecting on to France, so yes, Schengen. I land at 10:45 and depart at 11:50. Will I even have enough time to swing through the FCL if I keep this current flight? Next LH to CDG isn't until 3:50 and i've been to the FCT before so I don't think I want to spend 4 hours in the airport.
