I wondered if that might be the case. I started with an open mind about going north to south or south to north. Now, I've succeeded in finding my award flights, so am well and truly locked into beginning in ADL.

And thank you for the caution about gas prices. We think prices are high in the US til we travel elsewhere.

Thank you for that. I chronically misspell, as you'll note if you ever read the announcements I put up on FlyerTalk.

Any thoughts from anyone about where to stay in Port Augusta or Coober Pedy? Should i go for an underground room in Coober Pedy?
