Actually, the irony is that across the pantheon of issues discussed on this board, probably nothing could do in Mr. Smisek more effectively than continuing to play the video with him in it throughout the fiasco. Even if one stipulates to those who love to watch him that it's just a PR problem, having his face associated with it time after time makes him the poster boy.

Have the crews who continue to show it really not gotten the memo? It would be interesting to query and tally here whether the crews who do show it are PMUA or PMCO, and to ask the same of those who don't.
