Hi, sorry for the late reply.

Tioman island or Melaka can be your choice as they are closer to Singapore compared to KL or Langkawi.

Tioman island is nice and worth to visit, however, it's having the monsoon season in Feb. You should check the weather before you start your journey to TI.

Melaka can be the choice if you don't wanna go to KL.

I'm sorry to say that there's not much gay-friendly area in Malaysia as it's a muslim country. However, I don't think you will be ill-treated anywhere in Malaysia though, no worry about that. And this might be helpful for you http://www.utopia-asia.com/klbars.htm

Hope it helps and please report back if possible.

We'd also like to get some beach time in, so we were considering Langkawi or Tioman for that. Are either of these destinations gay friendly? Are there any gay friendly destinations in Malaysia?
