Interesting observations. I noticed something similar is going with Lufthansa where there's no business class availability on the long haul after mid July for the routes I checked. But strange enough I'm finding decent Swiss availability for few dates I was playing with.
I've seen award availability change on several airlines as they introduce new cabin configurations. Look at LH with the new F or TG with the new F and J on the A380. LO business awards from North America disappeared with the introduction of the 788 but it reappeared a month or so later.
I am not saying it is caused by the new configuration but I suspect there is a relationship.
