I was researching my award itinerary in C last night, and found a great direct flight from VIE-YYZ in OS.

There were 3 days in a row available, so I said I would book the next morning. I called the next morning, with itinerary in hand, and the agent said there were no seats available!

Lo and behold, I checked, and all 3 days were gone... in fact, the entire month's availability (August 2013) was completely gone.

Is this normal? Is it temporary? Will it come back?

There is an alternative flight back that adds 6 hours and a stopover, but I'd rather fly direct. Any suggestions?

I remember when I booked my RTW ticket, I saw 1-2 days of disappearing availability, which then returned.
