I booked flights for some family and friends (17 people) from London to India with Emirates Airlines. None of them care or want FF miles( they travel once every 5 years if that), so I signed up for Alaska Miles and entered my FF# to collect the points. I collect Aeroplan and was wondering can these points be converted to Aeroplan. Are there any benefits with collecting these points (status etc).
