Try the grief of the CC on a JER/LGW doing a full meal in CE in 35 minutes. They have my admiration for what they achieve - I can't eat of drink fast enough.

I think it's frankly insane for BA to do 'proper catering" on these very short sectors. I know it looks good, as a 'full service airline', but it's an unrealistic imposition on the CC … and sometimes gets a bit marginal in the latter stages.
Perhaps they should do something similar to the sleeper services, mind you that could prove hilarious in the JER lounge cum cupboard
