Try the grief of the CC on a JER/LGW doing a full meal in CE in 35 minutes. They have my admiration for what they achieve - I can't eat of drink fast enough.

I think it's frankly insane for BA to do 'proper catering" on these very short sectors. I know it looks good, as a 'full service airline', but it's an unrealistic imposition on the CC … and sometimes gets a bit marginal in the latter stages. More than once I've had to put a glass [glass] in the seat pocket as the CC are already strapped in, with no time to do a complete 'clear cabin'. Not their fault, there's just simply too much to do - especially when they get a 'straight-in' to LGW.
