I've received some "sale" emails today offering this at $79.99. B&H (my favorite on-line and brick-and-mortar store) has it for $64.95 with a $20.00 mail-in rebate. B&H doesn't charge tax outside of NY and shipping is free, bringing the final cost to $44.95, all-in.

My HP laptop doesn't have a Blu-Ray drive. Granted, I don't need one that often, but for $45, I'll just throw this drive into my computer bag and there it will sit until I need it.
