Thanks for all the replies, it is indeed a *A award. I just thought there was perhaps an easier way to do it, but thanks everyone. I tried booking it once, but I couldn't get any availability for around the time I need to get back; I tried United's and ANA's search engines and did find award availability, so should I just quote what I found to the agent next time I try booking?
