But so far, I've not seen any problems with other chipped cards. I've been filling up gas with my chipped AAdvantage MC for the past year or so now and this just this morning and it never said "see attendant." Perhaps it is something to do with AMEX only for now?
I used my British chipped Amex at a BP automated pump just fine. So not even as though its an Amex EMV problem.
