We were in town during Seafair, whatever that is, but that's not why we were there. Seattle/Bellevue just doesn't have enough hotel capacity, at least during the summertime. We needed to be in Kirkland and the only rooms, at any price, were at the %$&! ESA in Tukwila. So not only did one of us have to sleep on bricks, the other on an air mattress, we then had to contend with the miserable Seattle freeways.
