I guess I don't see the point of most Marriotts doing this: reserve a spot in the lobby for free with free WiFi when you're not a hotel guest of MR member. Are they counting on getting a lot more F&B revenue from this when it doesn't seem to be required? Does anyone understand their business model?
I'm not quite sure I understand it either. Maybe by promoting their free/cheap workspaces they can drive more traffic to their properties and increase meeting/room sales.
