Of those hotels, I have stayed only at the Makati Shangri-La and your comments are spot on, but it is hardly a boutique! I might note I have only stayed on a club floor and I strongly recommend that anyone visiting Manila and this hotel do the same. The club staff are very welcoming and do provide personalized service.
