So far I have had 3 seperate transactions at different gas stations that have had issues with my new AMEX Plat card with the chip in it. All three times I tried to swipe the card at the pump and the message "see attendant" came up. After I went in they opened the pump and I filled up but when I went in to complete the transaction the card could not be processed and I had to use an alternate card without a chip. Just to clarify, this was at 3 different gas stations and all three had the same issue.

I called AMEX and they seemed suprised but said they would research the issue. Anyone else having these problems? Transactions at all other vendors go through without issue including restaurants, Best Buy, Airlines, etc.
