Was told at check-in/bag drop today (which, coincidentally, was one of the fastest ever in my experience ... no more than 2 minutes from entering the Club/BAEC/OW status lane to moving away having cheked-in one bag) that I could use Fast Track security upstairs. The sign was indeed there and the system was smooth and efficient.

Funnily enough, as Fast Track was relatively quiet one of the staff announced to a colleague (loudly enough for us departing pax to overhear) that he would be going outside and getting more passengers to use the FT lane, including 'those with just bus or train tickets' ... I was already in the Lounge before his threat/joke/idea/proposal* (*delete as appropriate) could be put into action, so am unable to comment on any developments

Also (as per another thread topic) we were called to the gate from the Lounge 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time. All pax and baggage loaded in time for us to push back 15 minutes early and arrived at LHR 30 minutes before schedule ... which meant parking on an international stand, but even that wasn't a problem as the ground staff already had steps and buses waiting ... result! ^
