Almost every morning in one particular room at one FS hotel I stay at. And this is after a normal 5-7 minute shower. Once had a visit from engineering after it went for a few minutes without shutting off. Now I just wave a magazine at it (like they did) and its fixed... Insist on the same room since its at the very end of the CL hallway with no room to the side or cross hall and the HVAC doesn't have the annoying timed shutoff programmed into it - so small price to pay.

And I don't judge the OP for his habits. To whatever someone is so high and mighty about is probably wasteful and annoying in other matters...
