Slybone, how did you approach them to get the points? I asked about it on my initial call and they said no-go.
I was EXTREMELY blunt about what I wanted, mind you my year anniversary is STILL like 3 months away... but, I told them I had 90k to spend and if they waived my fee I'd spend it on the card. I was told no as well, and asked to speak to a supervisor and the supervisor submitted the request to the marketing department for a 9500 pt adjustment. ~2-3 weeks later I got a letter in the mail saying how they don't waive the fee blah blah and all the blah blah benefits of the card and as a one time courtesy they would credit me the 9500 pts (Although the letter said '9,5000' which was unfortunately a typo
).
