Give the SQ lounge a try next time you're departing from BKK. A lot of us prefer it over the TG lounges. It does not have showers, or even toilets for that matter, but the food is definitely a notch above the TG C lounges, and the view is quite nice in my opinion.
No, not ex-Burma, and not any error fare. Just standard TG published fares from a point well known for having ridiculously low premium air fares.
