yea probably not my brightest idea ever, haha. Going to be a brutal day with 7-8 hours on the ground. The good thing is that I'll be home in time on Sunday to watch the football games!

With 8 hours on the ground, you might consider checking out Pearl Harbor, and maybe even taking the boat out to the Arizona memorial. It is quite a memorable, if bittersweet, experience.
I've been to those last time. I think roasting on a beach AWAY from the craziness of Waikiki would be amazing.
