It might shatter the esteemed FT - community but I mostly avoid the F lounge even if travelling on paid ( imagine that ) ticket because the C lounge has windows ( the small one ) .
Do you like a tarmac view? Or will other views do? I personally like the SQ lounge if stuck using a C lounge, with a nice garden view. I know some people though really only like tarmac views when flying. Have you tried the SQ lounge? Of course if you're flying to FRA, you're likely on the midnight flight, which departs long after the SQ lounge closes.
