The problem might not be with the cost, but rather with the bedding. The rooms either have one king bed or 2 twin beds (not 2 double beds). The tatami suite has plenty of room for more futons, but it is all tatami, with no seating.
The 80 m2 Deluxe Club room is considered a junior suite. If you are Diamond you can book the 30 m2 room and will be upgraded to a 40 m2 deluxe room, not always on the club floor because the number is limited by with club access.
I have not used points for a suite, but have used Diamond suite upgrades, and I would think the policy is the same. The suite is the 90 m2 Regency King or Twin (again 1 king bed or 2 twin beds) suite or the tatami suite. However, if that category is not available, they offer a "voluntary downgrade" to the 80 m2 Club Deluxe (Junior Suite). I previously posted some descriptions in the Diamond suite upgrade thread; also see the hotel's site for photos.
