You can check/change your seat assignments right now by visiting lufthansa.com, click "Login/My Bookings" at the top, and enter your last name and Lufthansa PNR (view your United reservation and then click "View Additional Confirmation Numbers" at the top to get your Lufthansa PNR).

Since you're posting in this forum I'm assuming your reservation is for United 900 as the first segment, which means you check in and check bags with United.

And if we're talking about United 900 this Thursday, connecting to LH 754 on Friday - see you on the flight
