I'm not necessarily looking for the smallest, just one I can access the hotel's portal page and run a VPN client... for those times I don't bring a laptop.
Asus hasn't made public what chipset the WL-330NUL uses.
Their WL-330ge travel router uses a Broadcom chipset. I successfully installed Tomato on mine. DD-WRT would work fine too on it.
