Incorrect. Award tickets for premier credit card holders can be upgraded prior to 24 hours out (award tickets are upgraded last within each premier level). There have been numerous posts saying that there is difficulty upgrading if one doesn't clear prior to OLCI - ie name disappears from upgrade list.

OP - no upgrades TATL, TPAC, Buenos Aries, Rio,etc
