I would support local If they took Amex and if they are close to the uk cost, I bought an iPhone 5 for my wife for Xmas £750 in Jersey Telecom and £460 delivered to jersey from expansys, £290 mark up and JT should be buying in bulk. I know IQ are not bad but they are not allowed to sell iPhones as they are not a full apple reseller.

It's not just Jersey where the high street is failing the world is moving to online sales, not great for I want it now. Mind you last year we had to buy loads of things for a flat in the uk, tv, beds, glasses cutlery, and even John Lewis in Oxford street only had 1/2 the items the tv came from Amazon in the end as they would deliver next day, John Lewis 2-3 weeks.

The hight street will be full of coffee shops restaurants and browsing stores like Sony, apple, Samsung, you an look at things but order for delivery. There used to be a Sony shop in Kingston upon Thames a few years ago that was just to look at the latest products, you could not buy from them, just play with them.

I guess clothes shops and shoes will be the other survivors untill accurate sizing is sorted. The high street is doomed!
