When I stay at PC hotels, I’m usually booking HI Express during family vacation road trips. Their cost effective and I think it’s the best breakfast among the two stars.

When it comes to using reward stays though, HIE seems like a bust. Are you better using the points for higher end properties, CP or ICs?

And is there really point to having Plat status at HI or HIEs? You get the point’s kicker but there’s not much in the way of upgrades to really be had.
