If you do buy an Android smartphone in China, bear in mind that the version of Android installed in phones inside CHina does not include any of the Google apps such as gmail, google calendar, google play marketplace etc. I suggest you buy an phone installed with a foreign version of Android, which are also available in electronics markets in China.
