I suppose I'll get an answer by seeing if this has happened to anyone else.

I checked out of the D Cubed yesterday, 6 hours later got the following email:

Greetings from Sheraton Seoul D Cube City!

Thank you very much for your recent stay with us and we do hope your stay was pleasant and up to your satisfaction.

Following your departure, a charge of 27,500 KRW for personal bar items was identified which was missing from your account. Hereby, I attach the details of the charges for your reference.


1 Lav Vieille Ferme Rouge 25,000 KRW

Total 25,000 KRW + 10 % Tax, 27,500 KRW to be settled.


As you gave us authorization to settle the amount with your Amex Card ending with XXX upon check out, the amount of 27,500 KRW has been settled with the AMEX.


Please kindly find the attached file for the receipt and folio.

If there is any way in which I can be of assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us anytime.

I sent them the following email reply:



Please be advised that I certainly did not consume anything from the mini-bar, and I don't even know what " Lav Vielle Ferme Rouge" is.
I know there was a bottle of wine on the table in the room when I arrived, and it was still there, untouched, when I left.

I am sure that you can check my past history through Starwood, and see that on 9/10 stays I will never touch the mini-bar, and on the one time out of ten when I do it is only for a chocolate bar.

I did not even look at your mini-bar this past stay, so I do not know what was there, but I suggest that you check the record of key card openings on the door after my checkout.
