Does anyone know how easy it is to do an international transfer at MAD? I'm thinking about doing a trip back to back (arrive from MIA in the morning, depart for MIA in the afternoon on a separate ticket) and wondering if such a thing is possible.. Or will I have to clear immigration?
If you've a boarding pass then you'll only need to pass security to get into the T4S departure area without having to clear immigration. If you don't hold a boarding pass then they won't allow you to go back to the T4S departures hall and you'll have to clear immigration, go to the main T4 and check-in there.
