I'd say it's typical first class on most airlines, and you'll probably notice that most of us like an upgrade when we get them, haha. Crews are pretty super. Are you just flying the leg from CA?

Can't say about the lounge, didn't check anything out, but there was a lounge...just don't know what membership it needed.
Very helpful! Thank you for your response. Yeah I'm just flying the shorthaul from SJD to SAN which is only 2 hours. Two hours in economy is reasonable IMO and especially if security is a breeze.
