Yes the breakfast is great and plentiful and I was not complaining about it at all. It's just that when I checked-in I was taken aback by the comment: We'll give you this but you're only entitled to that.... especially when I wasn't asking for anything.
This was a first for me in the 29 years I have been an HGP member.
So my question to all of you diamond members, who have stayed at that hotel:
Were you ever offered only a continental breakfast?
and should I feel privileged to have been given the full buffet breakfast at that property because I wasn't supposed to?
