Under the contract of carriage they should have put you on EVA "provided that the tariff covering the original transportation permits routing via the carrier which will transport the Passenger". I wonder whether the tariff covering your original transportation (a UA Star Alliance award ticket) was appropriate to permit routing via EVA?
