I recently made a reservation at the FS Boston and afterwards I went to Tripadvisor to read the most recent reviews. The most recent reviews mention a renovation, so I called the hotel directly to inquire. I was told that the hotel is currently closed but will reopen tomorrow. The bathrooms are being renovated.

And, I spoke with the hotel this morning and they are renovating half of the bathrooms this year and half of the bathrooms next year. They should be completed with most of the work they are going to be doing this year by March. Renovations will include new marble flooring and counters as well as some rooms/suites receiving new showers and/or tubs.
