Several of the posts in this thread describe getting the Priority Boarding benefit even if they didn't purchase their ticket using the Explorer card. Supposedly this is because your card is tied to your MP account. Has anyone actually verified this by buying a ticket using a different card and been given a board zone of #4?

My employer is now forcing us to use a company provided Amex card for all travel, but would hate to give up even this small benefit.
