kimtrip has given me food for thought as to whether Amanpulo is for us. I've also seen reports in the property thread as to the food being indifferent. At the Aman price point, that's unacceptable. Thus, I'm wondering about properties half the price where I'd be comfortable with some hiccups in exchange for the savings.

Does anyone have experience with Abaca Boutique Resort? It's part of the Mr and Mrs Smith hotel collection. I've no idea if that is a recommendation. It's a short drive from the Cebu Airport.
